There is nothing moving in the movie Spotlight that will make anyone cry. Its farcical drama on its villain Cardinal Bernard Law actually made people laugh because he gave a thick book on the Catholic Catechism to Marty Baron (Liev Schreiber in his dullest lifeless acting movie ever). Victims of pedophile priests and other victims cannot find solace or solution in the movie Spotlight because those millions of dollars paid Hollywood A-listers are but self-indulging paid schizophrenic pretenders actors. Spotlight is no drama at all and it is sheer deception

No actual real-life characters were shown in the movie Spotlight. The Hollywood (million dollars paid) A-list actors may have “resembled” those reporters of Boston Globe in some ways but they were not real but rather paid pretenders. No historical characters – especially Cardinal Bernard Law or John Paul II’s real faces or their portraits (they had tons of them) or video footage were shown in the movie – (unlike All the President’s Men that showed real video recordings of Richard Nixon) -- and therefore Spotlight cannot claim itself to be “documentary”.

At the culmination and end of the movie, Spotlight writes in alphabets that Cardinal Bernard Law resigned (in allusion to Nixon) and that he went on to work in a prestigious basilica in Rome –– but it omits (intentionally) John Paul II who promoted him there. Cardinal Law resigning is half-the-truth; John Paul II promoting him to Rome is the other half-of-the-truth. Therefore Spotlight is a big cover-up of John Paul II who was already in his 24th year papacy in 2002, the longest reigning pope in history and who committed the ultimate massive cover-up of pedophile priests worldwide (named aptly after him as JP2 Army – John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army). And it was John Paul II who ordered Cardinal Bernard Law and all cardinals and bishops to cover-up and protect pedophile priests -- for the sake of his own reputation as John Paul II “the Great” -- and for the “clean” reputation of the Catholic church.

When today’s (paid) journalists write that Spotlight is a “docudrama” -- (such as the article in Indiana’s The Republic newspaper today, see more in our rebuttal below) -- or that Spotlight is similar to All the President’s Men – it is our moral obligation to point out that these (160, still counting) journalists are spreading falsehood and misleading their readers – and that they are writing on behalf of their plutocrat boss’s orders. Ironically, (while paid pundits praise the Spotlight’s reporters and their disclosure of church cover-up on pedophile priests) the movie Spotlight itself ipso facto also is committing the same cover-up -- on the very villains within the church and Vatican hierarchy who covered-up thousands of pedophile priests not only in Boston but worldwide for decades before 2002 – and those villains are Cardinal Bernard Law and Pope John Paul II.

There were ample of videos of Cardinal Bernard Law especially in his deposition before the civil court when he tried to avoid getting prosecuted. There were miles of videos on John Paul II – the most traveled pope – and he was in Toronto, an-hour flight near Boston in July 2002 – the year Spotlight is talking about. From January 6, 2002 when Spotlight ends – to December 2002 – there was July 2002 when Cardinal Law went to Toronto to meet John Paul II.

Spotlight is not a drama at all but a farce especially Cardinal Bernard Law’s meeting with the editor of Spotlight team, Marty Robert (played by Liev Schreiber in his most lifeless and dullest acting movie ever) in his office. The portrait of the pope in Cardinal Law’s office was NOT John Paul II – (and that was a major Tom McCarthy omission – in collusion with the Opus Dei Beast PR Deceits team at the Vatican).

The so obvious orchestrated Oscar buzz for Spotlight and its exaggerated and overrated long reviews by more than 160 mainstream media journalists bombarding film awards this year – is unprecedented and must prove overwhelming even by honest film award board members. As we have said since 2014, when the movie was almost finished with its production, the movie Spotlight is a Vatican propaganda for its own all-things-Catholic website Crux lodged in Boston Globe. More importantly, the movie Spotlight is meant to become the main conversation feel-good piece to camouflage the Vatican crimes against humanity’s children in half-the 20^th century committed by the JP2 Army – John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army – named aptly after the pope who reigned the longest but said nothing and did nothing to cease pedophile priests crimes and hence he never protect children in his 27 years globetrotting papacy.

The purpose of Spotlight is to shut-up the memory of the half-the-20^th century Vatican crimes – by acting as decoy and refocus on people’s minds to 2002 so they’ll talk instead about “how good were the journalists were in 2002”. It’s a feel-good strategy to cover-up half a century of crimes into that half a year in 2002 of five reporters of Boston Globe (which the Vatican owns today). A few Fridays ago, my better half, Kate, and I decided to take in a movie. Our choice was “Spotlight,” the docudrama about newspaper coverage of the Boston Archdiocese sex abuse scandal.
This topic hits close to home with me. I’ve been on the receiving end. It’s not something I talk about a lot, but from about ages 8 to 11 I was a sexually abused child. More than 50 years have passed, but it still bites me from time to time.
I’m a movie buff, though. “Spotlight” got phenomenal reviews, and everyone said the abuse part was tastefully and delicately handled. So off we went, figuring everything would be just fine.
Which it was, mostly. I’m definitely glad I saw the movie. But about halfway through, I started to tear up. Then the part that really got to me was when
the reporters began to realize just how many Boston children had been sexually abused: hundreds.
That’s when I burst out crying.
Yep. Crying.
You see, my family never talked about sex when I was a kid. When I was being sexually abused, I had no tools to tell about it. I didn’t like it, but it seemed as though that was just the way life was. No sense telling about it, I figured. Nobody’s going to do anything about it, anyway.
That’s exactly what abusers are experts at making kids think.
I can tell you, it’s the strangest, mind-warp kind of experience. Your body’s not your own. But the abuser makes sure your mind’s not your own, either.
That’s how abusers in the Boston Archdiocese worked, too. A whole power structure pretended it wasn’t real — because it was hard to talk about.
Then the reporters discovered it was real. What all those children went through was real. And awful. That’s when, for me, the tears came.

REBUTTAL: This movie is more accolades for the reporters – and NOT on the victims. There is NOTHING MOVING nor inspiring about this movie Spotlight that is filled with deception. You know what? I’m not sure it was just from hurt or bad memories. They might have been tears of gratitude. This needs to be talked about.
This is one big reason I’m all for age-appropriate sexuality education in school — and church. Sexual predators hide in the silence. Unless your kid can talk about sexuality as confidently as talking about Colts football — I’m serious — it leaves shadows for a predator to hide in.
My one big gripe about “Spotlight” is that it lets us off too easy. We can walk out of the theater saying, “Well, that’s big cities for you.” Or, “That’s the Catholic Church for you.”
If you think sexual abuse is only about big cities or only about the Catholic Church, I have a bridge to sell you.
It’s all over. It hides in the shadows. You can bet it’s hiding right here in Columbus.
I will bet you the price of a steak dinner for your whole family that you already know someone who has been sexually abused.
They probably don’t talk about it. How could they? Our society is so weird about sex that people would look at them as though they were space creatures if they told. Or just not believe them. Shame and disbelief are a predator’s handiest tools.
Go see “Spotlight.” Or rent the DVD when it comes out. Pay attention to the movie’s characters who were abused as children.
Their pain and tears? That’s the way it really feels. (What a lot of BULLSHIT and crap)

This is something we need to pay attention to. We need to educate our children — and ourselves. We can’t just pretend it’s not happening or that it will go away without us facing the discomfort of dealing with it.

Spotlight movie is sheer DECEPTION

There are several deceptive and half-truth scenes in Spotlight...

The main deceptive scene in Spotlight is its core half-truth and most famous statement “It’s time” – shouted out by Mark Ruffalo (to Michael Keaton): “It's time, Robby! It's time. They knew and they let it happen to kids, okay? It could have been you, it could have been me, it could have been any of us. We got to nail these scumbags, we got to show people that nobody can get away with this, not a priest or a cardinal or a freaking pope.”

How many Catholics or those who saw the movie Spotlight – or those 160 Americans journalists and (paid) film pundits promoting Spotlight for an Oscar buzz – know who that “scumbag, freaking pope” that Mark Ruffalo is screeching about? Or do Catholics even care? Or does it matter? Does it mean many popes or any pope? Why the complete omission and cover-up (again) by the movie Spotlight on that pope who was reigning in 2002 which is the specific olden year Spotlight is resurrecting?

This scene seems ‘powerful’ and as if Mark Ruffalo has ‘covered it all’ or summed it all because he named those key religious guys. But wait a minute, not so fast. There is something Mark Ruffalo is not saying. There is something Spotlight is not saying. Now, that is cover-up. Another big cover-up—again—ironically by the movie Spotlight bragging about journalists who exposed cover-up by the Catholic church – but it is committing the same cover-up for the same church today.

Spotlight is shamefully a HALF-TRUTH movie. Mark Ruffalo is stating only part of the truth – and not the whole truth – and it deceives because it makes Catholics feel like it is the whole truth. Like those famous popular comic drawings that ask you to find “what is wrong and missing in this picture?” --- none of the 160 Americans journalists who have promulgated Spotlight for Oscar buzz has pointed out the most important “missing” images and half-truth in the movie Spotlight.

How many Catholics or movie goers know who that “scumbag, freaking pope” that Mark Ruffalo is talking about? Or do Catholics even care? They heard a few names of pedophile priests mentioned in the movie, but so what, they have already heard and been saturated with thousands of names in the course of three decades since 1985 when those Jesuit sex crimes were already being reported by investigative journalists in Los Angeles. So what if Cardinal Bernard Law resigned as mentioned in Spotlight? There are other more dramatic infamous cardinals and bishops especially Cardinal Mahony and Opus Dei Bishop Finn. Cardinal Bernard Law compared to them is the wimpiest of them all because he quickly paid 100 million dollars because he warned in 1985. So what if he resigned, it was quick – without a fight, without resistance, and without drama – unlike Bishop Finn with his Catholic League army headed by Goliath-bully Bill Donohue fighting for him to keep his job for years.

So, do Catholics know who the ‘scumbag, freaking pope’ is in Spotlight? Why the total ignorance of Catholics after seeing Spotlight? Why the complete omission and cover-up by the movie Spotlight on that pope? Why have 160 Americans journalists (still counting) not pointed out who that pope is and instead focus only on the “investigative journalism” when at the same time they turn a blind eye on the real investigative journalists today in Italy who have recently written two books on Vatican Avarice based on Vatileaks 2 – and who are being prosecuted unjustly by the Vatican?

The pope is so near yet so far away.

So near that his relic and portrait is in every Catholic churches and his portrait is the most printed and distributed worldwide especially in 2002 – because he was already preparing and master-minding his imminent canonization. His giant statues are in every major basilica worldwide. The Vatican-produced the movie Spotlight – to shut up the conversation on pedophile priests -- once and for all --- by making people talk about Hollywood movie actors and their movies instead.

The Vatican helped to coin this line “It’s time” to deceive people by making them “feel-good” about Mark Ruffalo because he acts as if he is telling the (entire) truth. But Mark Ruffalo is a highly paid con artist actor and he can pretend any part you pay him to -- and his statement is only half-truth -- because he camouflage and cover-up the other actual most important reality – that the “scumbag, freaking pope” is John Paul II – who was nowhere seen in the movie Spotlight because that is how the Vatican wanted it to be – no correlation of Spotlight with John Paul II.

There were ample opportunities to show John Paul II’s portrait especially at the office of Cardinal Law when Spotlight’s boss (Liev Schreiber) goes to visit Law -- but the photo of another pope was shown -- which is a very false depiction -- because John Paul II was already in his 24th year (out of 27 years longest) papacy and his photo was already strewn all over the world and compulsory especially in all Catholic offices and churches. John Paul II’s photo was also nowhere seen during the Christmas caroling and church scene, and at the end of the movie when Spotlight wrote about December 2002. Spotlight is therefore a pathetic intentional half-truth deception propaganda and another Vatican millions dollars paid Hollywood cover-up for the scumbag saint pope John Paul II and his JP2 Army -John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army named aptly after the false “Holy Father” who said nothing and did nothing to save children in his longest papacy of 27 years.

Court hears of massive brief in child abuse case against Catholic brother

Newcastle local court has heard the brief of evidence in the case against a Catholic brother, accused of hundreds of child sex offences, is now more than 9,000 pages long.

Bernard Kevin McGrath was extradited from New Zealand last year to face 252 child sex offences, alleged to have happened in the Lake Macquarie region in the 1970s.

McGrath faced court today via video link, dressed in prison greens and showing no emotion.

The court heard McGrath has recently changed lawyers, with his new solicitor expressing concern about the size of the brief of evidence.

She said she is at a slight disadvantage having only recently taken on the case.

The court heard a trial is likely to last at least six months.

These children and many others around the world were RAPED again and again. This is not something you get over this is something that you live with always. Recently, the Pope declared that "Jews will no longer be blamed for the death of Christ" so Church has been preaching hate of Jews for centuries because they taught
that Jews killed Christ, now they're no longer spreading hate of Jews ? AIDS, condoms can only be used by prostitutes, what kind of understanding of AIDS and the spread of AIDS don't these amoral, irrelevant, what are they protecting these heads of the Roman Catholic Church?
